3D worlds made of antique books

Su Blackwell has graduated the Royal College of Art in 2003. She creates intricate pieces of art from books making the fantastic 3D worlds! By means of a surgical instrument, a scalpel, the talented English cuts and glues the pages creating the tiny light - illuminated diagrams located into the wooden boxes or glass cases recalling the Victorian antiquities which are on view in museum.

By the way, talking about antiquity and museums - today I have found an excellent china online shop where you can see a great choice of the antique pieces. The coins, porcelain and many other AUTHENTIC antique goods!

An old worn book is on a dusty shelf. It had already lost an interest of the readers, and no one will open its pages and have a look inside of it, no one will be interested in a plot of the story galloping greedy through a book in order to puzzle out an involved mystery. No one, except the English artist Su Blackwell who gives a new life to the books which become alive and open their stories for the readers!
